Welcome to the Official Webpage of the Utah Old Time Fiddlers and Country Music Association. We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, perpetuation, and enjoyment of Old Time music. Our purpose is to encourage musicians of all ages, and to provide them with opportunities to to improve their skills by performing in public. If you live in Utah, and enjoy the music of the fiddle tradition, then this is the place for you.
Our chapters hold regular jam sessions, and are also available to play for special occasions. If you would like to arrange a performance, please contact the chapter chairpersons nearest you.

The UOTF Would like to extend its condolences
To the family of Everett Booth, long standing member of the organization and resident of Orem Utah. Everett and his wife, Doris, have been members for many years and are well loved by all. Everett's obituary can be viewed at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home's web page, or by following
this link.
Salt Lake Chapter is holding a Fiddle Workshopon 28 January, 2012. The workshop is at 12:30AM at the usual meeting location in the West Valley City Hall (see the
Salt Lake chapter page for a map to the meeting). June Crosby will be hosting.
Soda Rock RamblersThere is also a workshop, held in conjunction with the normal Saturday jam session on April 14th, hosted by the Soda Rock Ramblers. The workshop will run from Noon to 2PM. In addition, the Ramblers will be holding a house concert at the home of Marilyn Dillard, and also performing for a community dance on the 13th. See the

A New and Expanded Version of the Starter Tunes Collection is now available. Thanks to Doug Anderson and June Crosby for compiling these tunes for us. You can obtain a hard copy of the collection from your chapter president, or when renewing your annual membership. There is also an
announcement from Pioneer Chapter Chairman Doug Anderson which details the new collection.
