If you would like to listen to a typical jam session, please see the links below.  These three recordings contain dozens of Oldtime favorites: Blackberry Blossom, Crying Waltz, Old Joe Clark, Redwing, Swallowtail Jig, Temperance Reel, and so on.  The files are large, currently broken down into one hour chunks.

Please note that these are not polished professional performances.  They are a regular, unrehearsed, live jam session where I just happened to have a digital recorder.  You will hear the usual chit-chat around the circle, a variety of tunes and songs, some learning experiences, encouraging remarks and lots of fun.  There is also the occasional burst of high-energy, toe-tappin', foot-stompin', knee-slappin', heart-poundin', ya-hooin' you-know-what!

Our annual membership drive luncheon and jam session was a big success and a good time was had by all!  See the new slide show to the right for details. 

If you were unable to attend, but still want to join, please contact our chapter chairman Doug Anderson for details.

Meeting Schedule:   1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month

Regular jam sessions are twice a month, the public is invited at no cost or obligation.  You are free to come or go as you like.  Bring your instrument - any "fiddle compatible" instrument is welcome (guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, dulcimer, etc).  You may join in if you like, or just sit and enjoy.

We do not anticipate any changes to the schedule.  If we have to make a change, an email will be sent to all chapter members as soon as possible.
