There are a number of Old Time Fiddlers who remain at large. This space is reserved for them, to allow them a place to contribute. This month, we are posting an article on behalf of lifetime member Don Smith of McArthur, California. Don occasionally serves as a concert master for the UOTF here in Utah.
McArthur CA is area code 530. The fiddler in the photo is a fellow named "Trapper". As mentioned in the article, Don's group jams on the first Thursday of each month. Don reports that the group currently has eighteen members and is growing. If you happen to be traveling in the McArthur area, you might want to drop in and say hello.
